Seen in a field by Richmond and Hale, two blocks south of Bailey Ave., 12 feb., 2005. I saw the bird about 100 yards into the field. I went looking, but Couldn't find anything. Then suddenly something flew up, circled, then landed again (I swear). But I never could find it after that. The grass is 2 foot high, and I do believe the little guy was hiding, or burrowed, or was abducted by aliens. Hey, maybe its a hollogram, what do I know. Anyway, it disappeared. Taken with 100-400L f/4.5-5.6 + 2x Tamron TC, ISO 800, on the 10D.
